My Story

Hi! I am a technology LOVER with wide ranging tech experience in development, consultancy, entrepreneurship, leadership, evangelism, business and nonprofit strategy, and more! My experience spans over 20 years starting in 2001 with coding in application and web development to the SharePoint then Office 365 consulting, strategy, implementation, solution development, and training and adoption to my time at Microsoft as a technical person leading highly technical people. I am also a huge proponent of DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging) and believe that none can be truly possible without the others. In this arena, I use my voice to educate and inspire.

In my most recent role as the Worldwide Global Role Lead for Cloud Solution Architects at Microsoft, my job was to help Microsoft field architects get the tools and resources they need to help Microsoft Partners gain and employ the technical capabilities needed to become successful, more profitable, and are best able to serve mutual customers. I led those architects and their managers across all of Microsoft's solution areas (Azure, Business Applications, Modern Work, and Security).

Formally, I organized and led two user group community and served on the board for another in the DC area, served on the board of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) DC, served on multiple other Microsoft boards including one of the Microsoft Partner Engagement Boards and the Advisory Taskforce for Microsoft Voices for Innovation, and was a Microsoft MVP for Office Apps and Services. I have organized and ran several tech day-conferences, written technical blogs, published tech books and videos, spoken at many conferences (in person and online, both tech and non), and served as political advocate for tech advancement, privacy, and safety as well as for minorities.
